Ganaji Contracting hastwo active Oil & Gas projects in Karratha and is seeking experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians for proper project work.

This is not shutdown hopping and not a role for learning Oil & Gas on the fly.

It's for technicians who already understand live and under-construction plants and want well-run sites, good crews and clear scope.

If you value process safety, solid systems and doing E&I work the right way - this will suit you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Hands-on E&I work across critical Oil & Gas systems, including:

  • Instrument calibration, loop testing & fault finding
  • Analyzer, function & shutdown testing
  • Control valve testing & commissioning
  • Fire & Gas system testing and verification
  • DCS & process logic integrity testing
  • Reading P&IDs, loop drawings, datasheets & manuals
  • Working with modern test & calibration equipment

This is proper E&I project work - no shortcuts, no guesswork, no chaos.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

This role is suited to technicians already experienced in Oil & Gas:

  • Demonstrated Oil & Gas experience on live process plants
  • WA Electrical Licence (Unrestricted or Restricted + Cert III Instrumentation)
  • Cert III or Cert IV Instrumentation with strong hands-on experience
  • Relevant trade qualification
  • First Aid (≤36 months)
  • CPR / LV Rescue (≤12 months)
  • Construction Card (White or Blue)
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Cert IV EEHA – highly regarded
PROJECT DETAILS
  • Location: Karratha, WA
  • Projects: Two active Oil & Gas projects
  • Roster: 3 weeks on / 1 week off

  • Hours: 68/70 per week

  • 10 hours Monday to Saturday

  • 8 OR 10 hour Sundays (project dependent)
  • FIFO: Flights from all Australian capital cities and territories
  • Start: Immediate
  • Duration: 6 to 9 months, with the opportunity to be considered for future Ganaji projects as they arise
