We currently have an opportunity for a Part Time Payroll Manager to join our team.
The opportunity:
Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Services this role is responsible for overseeing and managing end to end payroll function for Barossa Village. This includes ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for our employees. The role is part time, working three days per week - Monday & Tuesday and one other day.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for our employees
- Supervise and support one Payroll Officer
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, including superannuation and awards
- Prepare and review payroll reports, reconciliations and financial data
- Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices within the payroll function
- High end customer service, every time.
Essential Criteria:
- 5 + years' experience in payroll management, preferably within the aged care or health care sector.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, payroll systems, enterprise agreements and awards.
- Effective communicator and mentor with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- High attention to details and excellent organisational skills
- Participate in the Annual Mandatory immunisation program
