What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure branches have correct stock holdings and monitor internal stock transfers.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory levels and analyse incoming shipments for priority items.
  • Communicate effectively with Branch Managers, Purchasing, and the Distribution Supervisor.
  • Run and analyse adjustment reports, taking action on any alarming adjustments.
  • Oversee cycle counts and assist Purchasing when needed.
  • Attend operations improvement meetings and maintain Taipan's culture.

To be successful you'll need some or all of the following:

  • Warehousing systems knowledge
  • Data input experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills
  • Information and communication technology (ICT) literate
  • Communication skills
  • Valid full driver's license
