About the Project

Olympic Dam Mine, operated by the largest mining company in the world, BHP is approximately 550km North-West of Adelaide, mining copper, gold and uranium. Redpath commenced a 5-year ground support contract in July 2023, providing Shotcreting, Cablebolting, Batch Plant services and Fleet maintenance.  As one of the largest contractors on site, you will gain valuable experience to help grow your career in underground mining.

The role involves

• Operating brand new Normet Spraymec spray rigs
• 14/14 Roster
• Day to day operation & maintenance on Normet Spraymec
• In cycle development shotcrete
• Shotcrete rehabilitation
• Spraying of ventilation walls and paste wall.

We are looking for

• Previous experience as a Shotcrete Operator operating Normet shotcreting machinery
• Individuals that want to be part of the largest ground support contract in Australia, using the latest technology in shotcrete application.
• Career oriented individuals that are looking for career progression within the mining industry
• Valid manual drivers licence
• Underground mining experience
• Current First Aid & CPR qualifications
• The ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as work unsupervised
