The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a 1st Year Apprentice Roof Plumber. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in a hands-on trade, earning a wage while you learn. You will receive comprehensive training on the job from our experienced team, as well as formal training through TAFE to complete your Certificate III in Roof Plumbing.

Your Duties will Include:

  • Assisting qualified Roof Plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of metal roofing, guttering, and downpipes, fascia and gutter, flashings etc etc.
  • Learning to work with a range of materials, including Colorbond and Zincalume.
  • Handling and maintaining tools and equipment safely under direct supervision.
  • Assisting with on-site measurements, cutting, and fitting of materials.
  • Ensuring work sites are kept clean, safe, and organised.
  • Attending all scheduled TAFE training and completing coursework as required.

About You (Skills & Experience):

  • No experience is necessary We are looking for potential and a great attitude.
  • A genuine and demonstrable interest in starting a career in the roofing or plumbing trade.
  • A strong work ethic – you must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • A strong commitment to safety in the workplace.
  • Must be physically fit and comfortable working safely at heights.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • A current Victorian driver's licence is highly regarded.
  • Must hold a White Card (Construction Induction Card) or be willing to obtain one immediately.
