About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Hyper-V Expert / Server Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Windows Server environments, Hyper-V virtualization, server migrations, and troubleshooting. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and manage Hyper-V environments (clusters, VMs, replication, failover).
  • Manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
  • Perform server migrations, upgrades, and patch management.
  • Configure and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies.
  • Ensure server backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
  • Troubleshoot complex server and virtualization issues.
  • Work with firewalls, storage systems, and networking to support server infrastructure.
  • Provide technical documentation and support to internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Hyper-V (including clustering & replication).
  • Proven experience with Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022).
  • Solid knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs.
  • Hands-on experience with server backups (Veeam or similar).
  • Knowledge of storage (SAN/NAS/iSCSI) and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with security best practices in server environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or Azure-related).
  • Experience with Azure Hybrid / Cloud integrations.
  • Familiarity with VMware or other virtualization platforms.
  • Knowledge of firewalls and endpoint protection solutions.
