About the Role

We are currently looking for reliable, detail oriented cleaners to join our expanding team across the Newcastle and Maitland regions. You will play an important role in supporting our participants by ensuring their homes and support environments are kept clean, hygienic, and tailored to their personal preferences and needs.

Key Duties
  • Carry out routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising bathrooms and kitchens, and removing rubbish.
  • Follow cleaning and hygiene practices aligned with NDIS standards and participant requirements.
  • Adjust cleaning techniques to suit individual homes while respecting the participant's space and privacy.
  • Approach every situation with empathy, care, and discretion.
  • Use cleaning products safely and comply with workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols.

  • A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to delivering excellent cleaning standards.
  • Flexibility to work in diverse environments and interact respectfully with people of all abilities.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
  • NDIS Workers Check Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Desirable Attributes
  • Experience in cleaning within disability support, aged care, or healthcare environments.
  • Awareness of infection control and safe chemical handling practices.
