As an Assistant Educator, you'll help shape vibrant, safe, and engaging learning environments where children feel welcomed and inspired. You'll build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and your team, contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace.

Sparrow Early Learning Baxter is a warm, welcoming centre for children aged 6 weeks to school age. We love building strong connections with families and involving them in our community. Our passionate educators create play-based programs that focus on each child's growth and interests, following quality standards. We offer a safe, natural environment where kids can explore, learn, and get ready for school with confidence. We are proud to be a trusted part of the Baxter community.

What you'll need:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
  • Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Play-based Child-led pedagogy
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Excellent communication & leadership skills
  • Experience with Storypark is a bonus
  • First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
