About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cafe Chef to join our team at CAFFE CHERRY BEANS TAIGUM' in Taigum, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals for our customers. Working in our vibrant cafe environment, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare, cook and present a range of cafe-style meals, including breakfast, lunch and snack items
  • Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest quality standards and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to understand customer requirements and preferences
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Share your expertise and train junior kitchen staff as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cafe Chef or similar role
  • Experience must be specifically in cafe or restaurant cooking environments
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Passion for creating delicious, high-quality cafe dishes
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent preferred
  • Sponsorship is available for candidates
