Are you passionate about interior finishes and love bringing design visions to life with precision and purpose? At Cavalier Homes, we're looking for a highly organised and detail-driven individual to join our Colours Team. In this vital role, you'll help turn our clients' colour selections into clear, construction-ready documentation - ensuring every detail is accurate, accounted for, and beautifully aligned with their dream home.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Colours Team Member, your duties will include:

  • Receiving completed colour books and plans from consultants and managing associated documentation.
  • Reviewing and editing colour selections, pricing spreadsheets, and inclusion templates with a high level of accuracy.
  • Cross-checking product ranges (vinyl, tile, etc.) to ensure selections meet standard specifications.
  • Researching product specifications via supplier websites and downloading technical documentation where needed.
  • Coordinating with suppliers (e.g. Beaumont Tiles) for out-of-range item pricing and incorporating responses into pricing documentation.
  • Ensuring all pricing and selections are accounted for through a thorough checklist and highlighting process.
  • Managing client-supplied items by sourcing specifications and ensuring proper documentation and notation across plans, pricing, and inclusions.
  • Generating and customising client disclaimers where applicable.
  • Saving and filing finalised documentation accurately in digital and physical formats.
  • Liaising with Estimating, Drafting, and Sales teams to submit pricing requests, plan mark-ups, and final handovers.
  • Preparing physical folders for Contracts Admin by compiling and organising all required documents.

What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and digital filing systems
  • Strong written communication skills for internal correspondence and documentation
  • Ability to interpret plans and understand basic construction terminology
  • Confidence using supplier websites and researching product specs
  • Comfortable working independently while following set procedures

Bonus Skills (not essential):

  • Previous experience in a building, design, or estimating admin role
  • Familiarity with colour selection processes or product specification documentation
