Avant Stone is seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Operator to join our team in a role that combines crane operation, stone handling and warehouse responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in operating overhead cranes who is looking for stable, long-term work in the stone industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operating overhead cranes to move, load, and unload stone slabs
• Assisting in preparing samples for client presentations.
• Packing and dispatching customer orders to a high standard.
• Supporting stock organisation, inventory, and general warehouse duties.
• Providing excellent service when liaising with customers onsite.
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating overhead cranes (essential).
• Previous experience in stone, masonry, or fabrication highly regarded.
• Forklift license preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate).
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team.
• Driver's licence and reliable transport required.
• Availability to work Saturday mornings.
