Our well-established dental practice, serving the Trafalgar and West Gippsland area for over 25 years, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care in a comfortable and modern environment, building lasting relationships with our patients.

We're offering a full-time position

What you'll do:

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments.
  • Manage appointment book and times required for treatment
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Provide patient education and post-operative instructions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies.
  • Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for patients within our established community practice.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven customer service skills
  • Front desk reception experience
  • A passionate and reliable team player, ready to integrate into our long standing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for our community based practice.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of D4W (Dental for Windows) software.
  • D4W software experience is preferred, however comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or relevant experience
  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting can be obtained within 12 months of commencement if not already held.
  • Minimum of 1 year chairside dental assisting experience
  • Current Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of dental sterilisation procedures and infection control protocols
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.
