Middlemount Mine is an open-cut mine located approximately 90km North-East of Emerald and only about 7km out of town
Your new role
Secure a permanent position within our well-established maintenance department at Middlemount Mine in the Bowen Basin. Working a 7/7 rotating roster.
- Be involved with all areas of design and fabrication for machine maintenance, including hazardous hot work, confined spaces and working at heights
- Ensure planned repairs and maintenance are executed within time and cost requirements
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions
- Be committed to adhering and promoting a strong safety culture.
What you'll need to succeed
- A Boilermaker trade certificate with post-trade experience on a mine site
- Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Queensland driver licence
- Experience with heavy earth moving equipment.
