About the role

Berrima general store and cafe' is seeking an experienced Baker and Pastry Chef to join their team in Berrima, NSW. This full-time role will be responsible for the preparation and baking of a wide variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods to delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare, bake, and finish a range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods to a high standard
• Ensure all baked products meet the company's quality and presentation standards
• Assist with the development of new recipes and products
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in baking, patisserie, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a commercial setting
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods
• Strong time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently under pressure
• Passion for baking and a desire to continuously learn and improve your skills
