We are currently seeking Optical & Audiology Assistants to join our dynamic Armidale team. Our Optical & Audiology Assistants play a vital role in our stores, and will be responsible for:

  • Providing a high-level customer service on the retail floor, and assisting with frames selection
  • Providing in-depth product information
  • Managing our busy diary of customer appointments
  • Adjusting and fitting customers frames and hearing devices - ensuring our product exceeds their expectations
  • Ensuring merchandising standards are met, including general cleanliness of the store

As Optical & Audiology Assistant, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • A passion for providing the highest customer service and aftercare
  • Able to build rapport & adopts good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers
  • Strong computer literacy and basic math skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Good standard of personal presentation
  • Initiative, punctuality and reliability
  • An interest in understanding Optical & Audiology Retail
  • Able to work cohesively and productively within a team
  • Flexible to work retail hours which will include some late nights, public holidays and weekends
  • Audiology industry experience is desirable, but not essential.
