Role & Responsibilities

  • Integrate AI APIs (OpenAI, Whisper, Speech-to-Text, ElevenLabs, etc.) into the web app.
  • Build Python-based scoring modules for essays, speaking, and listening tasks.
  • Design and maintain a data pipeline (store student input + AI feedback securely).
  • Preprocess and label data for future training of custom ML models.
  • Experiment with fine-tuning models (when enough data is collected).
  • Collaborate with the Full-Stack Developer to connect APIs with the front-end.
  • Optimize costs and response time of AI services.

Required Skills

  • Strong in Python (must-have).
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks: PyTorch / TensorFlow / Scikit-learn.
  • Familiarity with NLP & Speech Processing (text scoring, speech-to-text, pronunciation evaluation).
  • Experience with API integration (OpenAI, Whisper, Hugging Face models).
  • Knowledge of data preprocessing, storage, and annotation.
  • Bonus: Experience in EdTech / exam scoring systems.
