The Town of Claremont boasts a well-established and popular arts and events program, which impacts tourism and community impact.  The Town has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Tourism & Events to continue to successfully implement this program, while continuing to build on the popularity of the portfolio.

  • Reporting directly to the CEO, key responsibilities for this position include:
  • Oversee a team managing multiple concurrent programs and events.
  • Track and report on performance indicators and budget status.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

What are we looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with strong project management skills.
  • Strong ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and outside of regular hours, as needed.
