Apigee Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Apigee Engineer to join our dynamic team, leveraging your extensive technical knowledge you will design and develop solutions on Apigee.

What role will you play?
Working closely with your Engineering manager and Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining API solutions and governance using Apigee. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable API solutions.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of API management concepts, strong hands-on experience with Apigee (Edge/Hybrid/X), or other API management solutions and experience with authorisation protocol such as OAuth 2.0 & representing claims with JWTs, and excellent problem-solving skills.
What You Offer
- Design, develop, and implement API solutions using Apigee Edge/X platform.
- Collaborate with architects, security, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and design efficient API solutions.
- Configure and customize Apigee Edge/X policies, proxies, and API products.
- Manage authentication and authorisation solutions.
- Optimize API performance, scalability, and security.
- Develop and maintain API documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and user guides.
- Troubleshoot and debug API issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in API management and Apigee platform.
- Hand on experience in implementing OpenID, OAuth 2.0, JWT Integrations, TLS/mTLS
