To support additional project growth, a new role has been created at Mt Magnet Mine Site for an experienced FIFO/DIDO (Mid West Location) Tyre Fitter (OTR) to join the team on a 8/6 or 2/1 roster (you choose) at our mining haulage operations in the Goldfields.

You will join existing crews of Leading Hands, HD Fitters, Auto-Electricians, Boilermakers, Apprentice Fitters and a team Service Personnel & Trades Assistants.

We will pay (direct where available) one flight per swing on a 2/1 roster to Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Hobart, Launceston, Burnie & Darwin.

We now offer one flight per swing (direct) flights on the 2/1 roster to various airports across Southeast Asia (e.g. Bali/Thailand, Singapore & Philippines) and Auckland.

8/6 is offered as a FIFO from Perth or or DIDO Mid West locations only.

Available start dates: Immediate start or join us in February/March 2026

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Focus on the removal and replacement of tyres across the fleet (Our drivers change their own RT tyres), our Kenworth Fleet and Trailers whilst working on tyre fitting duties on our Earthmoving Equipment (Komatsu - Graders/Loaders), Service Trucks, LV's as required
• Remove and replace wheel assemblies
• Wash & Inspect Rims
• Stripping & Fitting new tyres
• Confident using an automated tyre machine
• Actively participate in promoting and upholding our positive approach to safety
• Respectful & honest communication with Leading Hands and your fellow team members
• Maintain compliance to service schedule and ensure compliance with all necessary paperwork

You will be responsible for the tyre repair on:

• Kenworth C509, C510 and T909
• Bruce Rock, Roadwest & Boomerang Trailers
• Komatsu WA500/600 & 900 Wheel Loaders
• Komatsu GD655 Graders
• Service Trucks
• Toyota Light Vehicles

To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess or able to obtain the following:

• Prior experience (3yrs+) in Tyre Fitting with at least 6+ months in a Mining/Civil environment
• Certificate 11 in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology with OTR
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
• Must hold Australian working rights
• Manual Drivers License
• Forklift ticket (LF HRWL)
