Forward Ability Support is a not-for-profit organisation with 60 years history of providing key services to people with spinal cord injuries or similar related health conditions. BrightSky Australia is the social enterprise of Forward Ability Support and services the ageing and disability sector with medical consumables and equipment across Australia to the home, businesses and government. All profits go towards supporting Forward's community programs.

The Opportunity
Join an established People & Culture Team in driving training and development initiatives for Forward Ability Support and BrightSky Australia. You will play a critical role in enhancing the skills, knowledge and professional development of team members across all departments. You will focus on developing a comprehensive learning strategy, ensuring high-quality content and aligning training programs with strategic priorities.

This is a Part-time role with flexibility in your work days and hours (within standard business hours) to suit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities Include

  • Organise and facilitate inductions programs for new team members
  • Collaborate with departments identify training needs and their alignment to business needs and individual development plans
  • Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and deliver training
  • Maintain the annual training calendar
  • Coordinate performance reviews
  • Report and monitor training compliance

Skills And Experience Required

  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment and/or a relevant tertiary qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in designing and implementing training and development programs
  • Proven experience in creating and facilitating training
  • Proven experience in assisting managers with team member reviews
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
