We're writing a new chapter at the Rose & Crown – WA's oldest and most iconic hotel – with the launch of a bold new Asian fusion restaurant and bar in Rose Lane. Stylish yet approachable, it will bring together modern dining energy with the history of one of Perth's most loved hospitality venues.

We are looking for a creative and ambitious Senior Chef to bring this vision to life.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity to put your stamp on a brand-new kitchen. You'll craft a menu that is vibrant, modern, and memorable – balancing authenticity with innovation, designed for sharing and discovery.

• Help lead the design and launch of a dynamic Asian fusion menu
• Showcase your creativity through seasonal dishes, specials, and collaborations
• Inspire and mentor a team of talented sous chefs and kitchen staff
• Collaborate with Executive Chef Ross Booth to refine and evolve the food philosophy
• Drive consistency, presentation, and flavour that excites both locals and visitors
• Play a key role in shaping the culinary identity of the Rose & Crown's next chapter

• Proven experience in Asian or fusion kitchens, with a passion for bold flavours and innovation
• A natural leader who thrives on creativity and collaboration
• Excited by the challenge of building a new kitchen culture from the ground up
• Strong knowledge of seasonal produce, presentation, and modern culinary trends
• Someone who sees the kitchen as both a craft and a stage
