McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust) Pty Ltd are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitter to join the Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro project in North Queensland, on a 2/1 FIFO roster (day/nights. Nightshift will attract shift rates).

About The Project
McConnell Dowell, in a joint venture with John Holland, are delivering a unique green energy project located in Kidston, 270km north-west of Townsville. The Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro project is the first of its kind in Australia in more than 40 years and will be the country's third-largest electricity storage facility.

• The project is FIFO from Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane:
• 12-hour days with paid travel time;
• Highly Attractive hourly rate and allowances;
• Camp accommodation with Wet Mess, Gym, Games Room, Tennis and Basketball Courts.

The candidates we seek have the following
:

• Hold relevant Trade Qualification.
• Turbine and Rotating Equipment expereience highly desirable.
• Hold valid drivers licence.
• Hold a valid Construction White Card.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and the wellbeing of team mates.
• Respect for others in the workplace as a key personal value.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
