Key Duties & Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Machinist at Kingswood Cabinets, your key duties and responsibilities will encompass:
- Read and follow design and specifications as per work orders
- Setting up and operating woodworking CNC machines, wood to process, cut, turn, as per specifications
- Using the following techniques to ensure a high-quality finish on cabinetry – planing, sand, shaping, cutting, and turning using wood working machinery
- Assessing and maintaining cutter performance.
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults.
- Safely and efficiently performing tasks.
- Undertaking general maintenance and machinery care.
- Ensuring strict compliance with standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Role description:

- Desirable: Previous experience working with high-speed planers.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Wood machining or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in wood machining or cabinetmaking or shopfitting industry
- Proficiency in operating Homag brand machinery, including edge banders, Nesting CNC machines, and Beam Saws
- Ability to work Night Shift rosters for extended/agreed periods of time
Availability: Immediate start preferable
