We're partnering with a Melbourne-based organisation to recruit a
Junior SAP ABAP Developer
for a
permanent opportunity
. This is a
rare chance
to secure a junior-to-mid level SAP development role in a market where these opportunities don't come up often — especially one that also offers exposure to
modern SAP technologies

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for an SAP ABAP Developer with
3–5 years' experience
who is looking to
build depth in core ABAP
while also
upskilling into newer SAP platforms
, including
SAP BTP
. You'll work alongside experienced SAP professionals in an environment that genuinely supports learning, development, and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and support SAP ABAP solutions across existing and new SAP applications
  • Work on reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver practical solutions
  • Support ongoing system improvements and participate in new initiatives and projects
  • Gradually build exposure to newer SAP technologies, including
    SAP BTP and modern development approaches

About You

  • 3–5 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience
  • Solid foundation in classic ABAP development (reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms)
  • A
    strong willingness to learn
    and upskill in new SAP technologies
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in growing your SAP career
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Australian working rights (permanent role)
