About The Role
The HSEQ Advisor / Quarry & Fuel Administrator plays a dual role, providing support across health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) systems while managing the administrative and reporting functions for quarry and fuel operations. The position ensures compliance with company policies and legislative requirements, coordinates fuel logistics, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to the efficient and safe running of site activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional seeking a role that combines operational support with safety leadership and process coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety & Compliance: Promote and uphold WHS and environmental standards across quarry and fuel operations, ensuring full compliance with company and legislative requirements.
  • Operational Coordination: Manage and report on fuel deliveries, maintain accurate documentation, and support the smooth administration of quarry activities.
  • Leadership Support: Provide guidance to team members, encourage safe and efficient work practices, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Governance & Reporting: Maintain detailed records and assist in preparing reports on operational, safety, and compliance activities for management review.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen safety and quality outcomes within operational processes.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent qualification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Demonstrated administrative experience within an operational, HSEQ, or logistics environment.
  • Sound understanding of WHS principles, risk management, and compliance procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in reporting and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Ability to obtain or hold a Working with Children (Ochre) Card.
