This role leads the implementation of the Resilience Program for Years 7-9, promoting social-emotional learning, wellbeing, and student engagement within a distance education context.
As a member of the school leadership team, the Head of Department - Student Services collaborates with staff, families, and external partners to strengthen student connection, re-engagement, and overall school community wellbeing.
This is a temporary full-time position until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role
As Head of Department - Student Services, you'll lead the Resilience Program for Years 7 to 9, focusing on social-emotional learning and re-engagement for at-risk students. You'll collaborate with staff, families, and external agencies to develop tailored support strategies, monitor student wellbeing, and drive positive outcomes. This role also involves coordinating outreach services, using data to inform improvements, and contributing to whole-school planning and decision-making.
