Requirements

About The Role

Our Core Logger will be responsible for documenting and analysing drill core samples during mineral exploration for a 6-month fixed contract.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and record mineralisation, alteration, and lithology features.

  • Move and organise core trays, ensuring proper manual handling.

  • Follow established QA/QC procedures for sample collection and submission to assay labs.

  • Prepare preliminary logs for rapid assessment.

  • Take detailed photographs of core samples for documentation.

  • Download and integrate logging data into geological databases.

  • Participate in regular meetings with geologists to discuss drill core properties.

  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental protection.

About You

We require Core Loggers to have the following attributes:

  • Bachelor of Science (Geology) or obtaining
  • 2-3 years' experience

· Ability to work safely, actively identify hazards and assess risks

· Be self-driven

· Have a keen eye for detail

· Have a proven record of high performance and reliability

· Agility and a willingness to be challenged

· Work well in a team environment

· Have a positive attitude
