Logistics Coordinator

Position purpose

Works in transportation and warehousing of goods. Processes orders and oversees cycle of order fulfillment. Responsible for making sure suppliers, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely.

Main tasks

Core objectives include:

· Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another

· Orchestrate deliveries to meet construction site demand

· Receives products and coordinates delivery

· Prepares loads for shipment

· Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met

· Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles

· Work close with Warehouse Manager and Accounts Department

· Undertake general housekeeping, ensuring a clean and safe working environment

· Operate the forklift in a safe manner when loading/unloading freight and/or moving stock

· Deliveries as required

Required qualities

· Valid NT Driver license & clean driving record

· Experience in construction industry is essential

· Experience in using inventory system

· Demonstrated well-developed oral and written communication skills

· Performing general physical activities.

· Coordinating the work and activities of others

· May perform work requiring minimal supervision either individually or in a team environment

Qualifications

· Evidence of your right to work in Australia

· Construction Induction White Card

· NT Driver licenses – C Class

· license of operate Fork lift

· Current Safe Working at Heights Certification (if apply)

· Licence to perform high risk work –WP (if apply)

Experience

· Warehouse working experience

· Delivery working experience

· Construction industry working experience is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
