About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join our team at St John's Primary, Riverstone for 2 days per week during Term 4, 2025. This short-term role is perfect for an educator who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, building strong relationships, and contributing to a supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the developmental needs of all students
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Use assessment data to inform practice, identify barriers to learning, and support student growth
  • Manage the full learning cycle, including planning, teaching, assessing, feedback, and reporting to parents/carers
  • Actively contribute to the life of the school community, both within and beyond the classroom

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education
  • Current NESA Accreditation
  • Valid Working with Children Check clearance

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to the mission and ethos of Catholic education

Additional Information

Employment is subject to satisfactory child-related employment screening, including a valid Working with Children Check, and adherence to CSPD's Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct.
