About the role

This is an exciting full-time opportunity to join the Adelaide Cemeteries Authority as a Customer Relationship Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with our valued clients. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be based at our Clearview, SA office.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of key funeral director accounts to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Conduct regular meetings and site visits with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Resolve visitor inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client requirements
  • Monitor and analyse customer data to identify trends and insights that inform business strategy
  • Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies to support the company's objectives

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a customer relationship management, community engagement or account management role, preferably within the sales industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to effectively handle customer queries and complaints
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, marketing or a related field would be an advantage
