Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. This autonomous role involves operating a 12-ton truck with a rear-mounted Hiab, primarily for the delivery and pickup of scaffolding components to and from construction sites across the Perth metropolitan area. Previous experience in scaffolding and a good knowledge of the Perth metro area are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 12-ton truck with rear-mounted Hiab to transport scaffolding components.
  • Deliver and pick up scaffolding materials from various construction sites.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, project managers, and site supervisors.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of scaffolding materials as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid HR driver's license and Hiab ticket (essential).
  • Proven experience as a truck driver in the construction industry, preferably with scaffolding experience.
  • Good knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
