THE ROLE

Applications are sought from experienced Senior UG Mine Surveyor to join the team at Ora Banda.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

• Schedule, prioritise and undertake surveying tasks in a timely manner
• Ensure high standard of survey control for all engineering and geological design
• Ensure accurate and timely as-built surveys of underground workings
• Complete surface survey activities associated with the project
• Updating mine models, mining plans and statutory plans
• Implement and maintain the underground survey control network
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and statutory regulations
• Maintain high levels of communication between departments
• Supervision and training of survey personnel
• Promotion of a safe, healthy, cooperative, and productive work environment
• Ensure the timely maintenance of all survey equipment
• Carry out surveys for end of month volumes and reporting

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:  

• Tertiary Degree or Advanced Diploma of Surveying
• Grade 1 authorisation or ability to hold one
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience working as a Surveyor in the Australian Mining Industry
• Working knowledge of surveying software
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to safe work practices
• Knowledge and understanding of Mines Regulations, OH&S & Duty of Care
• WA Manual Driver's License
• RPAS Drone License
