An established national organisation with a strong portfolio of commercial clients is expanding its NSW electrical team. Known for delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality electrical work across fit outs, refurbishments, and ongoing maintenance, the business provides a supportive and structured environment for developing electricians to grow their skills and advance their careers.
About the Role
This hands-on role will suit a recently qualified electrician or a 3rd-4th year apprentice seeking greater exposure to commercial projects, refurbishments, and site-based maintenance. Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you'll gain valuable on-site experience in installations, wiring, fault-finding, and fit out works.
The role can be structured as either a full-time permanent position or an ABN engagement, offering flexibility depending on preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical works for new fit outs, refurbishments, and maintenance projects
- Support senior electricians with installations, repairs, and testing
- Carry out wiring, fault-finding, and troubleshooting under supervision
- Maintain compliance with Australian standards and site safety requirements
- Work effectively alongside other trades, subcontractors, and project teams
- Maintain tools, materials, and equipment in good working order
- Travel to multiple NSW sites and occasional interstate projects as required
Skills and Experience
- NSW Electrical Licence (or in the final stages of apprenticeship)
- 3rd-4th year apprentice or 1st year qualified electrician encouraged to apply
- Understanding of electrical systems, installations, and Australian standards
- White Card and PPE essential
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
