CONSOLE OPERATOR - SOUTHWEST REGION

About the role

Our Caltex Southwest sites (Myalup to Busselton) are currently on the lookout for a motivated and positive casual Console Operators. Reporting to the site management team, our Console Operators are responsible for providing excellent customer service whilst assisting in the operations of the retail site.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Excellent customer service

  • Stock control

  • Cash handling

  • Loss prevention

  • Promotional activities

  • General housekeeping

  • Kitchen tasks such as food preparation

  • Ensuring a very high standard of workplace health and safety is maintained at all times

Skills & Experience

  • Customer service experience, with a positive and enthusiastic approach

  • Food handling and kitchen experience

  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

  • The ability to work effectively as a team and individually

  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task

  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated track record of reliability

  • Ability to work in a flexible environment with additional hours as required over a 24/7 roster pattern

  • Legally entitled to work in Australia

You will be required to show proof of employability with a copy of your Australian visa advising of visa details and entitlements or Australian birth certificate. An Australian visa check will be completed on all successful candidates. A Police clearance certificate will also be required for all successful candidates.

We deliver quality fuel products and services across Australia and operate and supply a network of more than 350 retail locations primarily under the Caltex brand, as well as an extensive 24-hour diesel-stop network and a fuel card program. We also manage and operate depots and seaboard import terminals. The ongoing growth in our network of owned, managed and supplied retail sites offers greater conveniences for our fuel card customers.
