About the role
TMS INSTALLATIONS PTY LTD' is seeking a skilled and experienced Sheetmetal Lagger to join our team in Sydney, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. As a Sheetmetal Lagger, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective insulation of sheetmetal components to industry standards.
What you'll be doing
- Install and maintain insulation on sheetmetal components such as ducts, pipes, and other HVAC equipment
- Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials to precise specifications
- Ensure all insulation work meets industry regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with the installation team to coordinate efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
- Qualification in Sheetmetal Lagging or a related trade
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sheetmetal Lagger in the HVAC industry
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to precise measurements
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- White Card (Construction Induction) must be held prior to commencement
- A reliable and proactive approach to work
- Valid Australian work rights are required for this position
