About the role
As a Labourer, you will support the scaffolding team by assisting with the preparation, assembly, and maintenance of scaffolding on various construction and industrial projects. Your duties will include loading and unloading materials, cleaning and maintaining scaffolding equipment, and ensuring the site is safe and organised. This is a hands-on role that provides a great opportunity to gain experience in the scaffolding industry, working alongside a skilled and supportive team while contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has:
- A current General Induction Card (White Card);
- Previous labouring experience, preferably in construction or scaffolding (but not essential);
- A commitment to safety and a strong understanding of site safety protocols;
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction from supervisors;
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions;
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic;
A current Driver's Licence;
LR/MR/HR desirable but not essential
- Police Check and Working with Children Check maybe required for some work sites;
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced team environment with the ability to manage competing priorities.
