The role…

Our growing company needs an experienced and talented software engineer who enjoys working in a dynamic, start-up environment and wants to take a key role in building and supporting our SAAS platform.

This role will be based in Sydney, NSW Australia and will see you reporting directly to our Head of Engineering and you will work closely with other members of the technology team around the world. You will develop and maintain the Sinorbis platform solution and its application modules and help to scale the solution to handle increasing workloads on a global scale.

You will be involved in a variety of initiatives from building new Platform features& functionalities, to troubleshooting issues reported by customers and provide technical support to the Sinorbis internal teams.

Responsibilities…

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for:

· Collaborating with the engineering team to design, develop, and implement new features for the Sinorbis platform and related products.

· Developing and maintaining various application modules using technologies such as Java, , and others.

· Performing development, testing, and documentation of features, code, and processes.

· Providing technical support on the Sinorbis platform and assisting in troubleshooting issues reported by customers or internal teams.

· Leveraging AI-driven coding and productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to enhance code quality, speed, and maintainability in day-to-day development.

Skills and Experience…

You will need to demonstrate a passion for technology and building excellent products with high level of quality and attention to detail. You will also need to be able to learn and adapt on the go and work autonomously. On top of that, we are looking for:

· A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

· 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java.

· Strong knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, JPA, and testing frameworks like JUnit.

· Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and solid understanding of database design principles.

· Experience in web application development and a good grasp of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

· A good understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

· Experience with Agile development frameworks and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

· Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Alibaba Cloud.

Bonus

· Experience with and frontend frameworks (AngularJS / React).

· Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments (AWS).

· Familiarity with messaging APIs (e.g., WhatsApp, WeChat, Line) and building CRM system integrations.

· Experience in working with web-based content management systems.

· Exposure to or interest in machine learning/LLM models and their integration into SAAS based products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
