Availability: Between 8:15 am and 6:00 pm (7-day rotating roster)

About Us

Silly Solly's is a well-known Australian discount retailer, famous for our "Nothing Over $5" promise. At Modish Choice Pty Ltd, we proudly operate Western Australia's first Silly Solly's franchise store. Since opening five months ago, we've been delivering a fun, fast-paced, and friendly shopping experience — and we're looking for an experienced retail assistant to join our growing team.

About the Role

This role starts as a Casual Retail Assistant with the potential opportunity to step up to a Duty Manager role based on performance.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated team member who has:

  • At least 12 months of merchandising experience in a discount retail store (essential)
  • Duty Manager experience (preferred)
  • Availability to work any time between 8:15 am and 6:00 pm across a rotating roster (including weekends)

Key Responsibilities

  • Replenish and merchandise stock to maintain store presentation standards
  • Assist customers and deliver excellent service
  • Operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately
  • Keep the store clean, organised, and safe
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales and service goals

About You

  • Minimum 1 year's merchandising experience in a discount retail store (essential)
  • Previous Duty Manager experience highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high presentation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift/move stock as required
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
