About The Role:

This is a perfect opportunity to share your details with CPA if you have an interest in joining our group of casual Allied Health Assistants supporting after school sports programs. It is a growing program, with ongoing recruitment. If you have shared your resume here and meet the criteria then you will be notified when vacancies come available.

As an AHA you will work with clients and help build their capacity for movement and mobility. You will lead both individual and group programs to participate in athletics, basketball, swimming, football, etc across the local region.

You would be supported by the multidisciplinary team of CPA therapists who complete the initial assessments, then it is up to you as the AHA to deliver the sports programs. We also have a number of Para Athletes in the team to work alongside.

This role would be ideal for an allied health student, with a passion for sport who is looking for a career in the disability sector, as a hopeful entry way into a long career as a therapist with CPA.

The position would involve travelling across various locations where sports programs can be conducted, so some flexibility is essential for the successful applicant.

Why Join Us?

  • The chance to work independently and collaboratively, allowing you to make informed decisions that shape the care provided.
  • Work closely with clients as you assist with and/or implement therapy related activities to enhance client outcomes
  • Extensive professional development, clinical support, and mentorship to enhance your career growth.
  • Joining a close-knit and experienced multidisciplinary team, working alongside therapists and Para Athletes who are experts in their respective fields.

What We're Looking For:

  • A current driver's license and your own vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Check and Working With Children Check (or ability to attain them)
  • Relevent experience in the disability or sports sector
