Transport Administrator

The Role
Our Mareeba depot has an opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join their team.

You will provide administrative support in the day-to-day administration activities in the depot including general admin support, manifesting, data input and debriefing.

The role will be 3 days a week, Monday, Thursday and Friday and potential weekend work.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Manifesting consignments
• Loading planning and supporting operations
• The facilitation and management of customer orders and jobs received
• Liaising with operational staff to ensure all customer requirements are met
• Managing freight bookings and time slot requests
• Debriefing driver paperwork
• Assisting with depot pallet control
• Ad hoc administrative duties as directed by the Administration and Depot Manager
• Ensuring that all transport documents are correctly completed, filed and utilised in compliance with any and all regulatory standards for the transportation industry.
