About The Role
We're looking for a Senior Engineer to lead technical excellence across our agricultural and manufacturing operations. It's a pivotal role in driving performance, efficiency, and innovation across our farming and milling sites

You'll Be At The Forefront Of

  • Leading engineering support for manufacturing and packaging processes
  • Delivering capital projects (small to mid-sized) from concept to completion – including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management
  • Designing and commissioning new equipment and process upgrades
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards
  • Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement

You will be seen to be leading either the SunRice team, or the CopRice and Riviana team

Location:
You will be based near
Leeton, NSW
– a vibrant regional hub with a strong community spirit.

About You
You're a solutions-focused senior engineer with a sharp commercial mindset and a passion for food manufacturing. You thrive in dynamic environments and know how to bring people together to deliver results

With a $70 million annual BAU Capex, this is a high-impact role for someone who's ready to lead, influence, and innovate across multiple sites

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
  • 7+ years' experience in manufacturing or agricultural engineering, with some experience in food production
  • Proven success in plant reliability, maintenance systems, or capital project delivery
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in rural/agricultural settings
  • Proficiency in CAD, MSProject, and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
