Due to our continued expansion we a fulltime position as a timber specialist salesperson. Crowies Group is one of the most recognized and respected brands in the Australian paint industry and was established in 1996. We hold customer service in high regard and expect all of our staff to go the extra mile to provide the best service in the industry.
About the role
Due to our continued expansion, we require a bright ambitious applicant who is seeking a career in the coatings industry and wants to join our progressive and successful team. Whilst industry experience is desirable, it is not essential. Applicants with knowledge of timber stains and coatings will be preferred. To succeed with your application you must be accurate, flexible, reliable, and possess the right attitude.
Duties & Responsibilities
This role is responsible for assisting the Sales Manager and staff in all duties associated with the operation of a Timber and Industrial coatings store. We would like the successful applicant to be able to assume full responsibility for the day to day operation of the store in the absence of a senior staff member, after training is completed.
The successful applicant will be flexible, self-motivated, have high ideals of customer service and want to join a happy, progressive and successful team. Whilst not essential, an understanding and technical knowledge of timber stain and coating systems would be considered an advantage. This is a physically demanding role so the successful applicant will need to be physically fit.
Skills & Experience
The position involves assisting with all duties associated with the operation of the store. The successful applicant must have a bright and lively personality, be self-motivated, possess a very strong customer service focus, be physically fit and possess a valid drivers' licence. We are looking for someone who would like a long- term career, full training will be provided. This is a developing role and as such we are seeking a high calibre applicant who is looking to learn and grow.
