PIANO TEACHER - Group and Individual Lessons

The Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium (CHRC) of Music is a not-for-profit community based organisation, and a founding member of the Association of NSW Regional Conservatoriums, one of a network of 17 across NewSouth Wales. For 40 years it has provided a high standard of broad-based individual and ensemble music tuition and community music services such as concerts, workshops and cultural events in Coffs and the surrounding region.

Coffs Harbour Conservatorium of Music has a comprehensive range of tuition available for piano in all styles of music. Our team is a congenial and supporting group of teachers and we have modern and well-equipped studios and great admin support.

We are looking for a piano tutor who is able to take on our small but growing cohort of beginner students taking group piano lessons and potentially build a studio of single lesson students as well. Our current group classes of 2-4 students occur across the week.

Qualifications:

Ideally the successful applicant would have:

·      Recognised music qualifications. These may include AMEB, Cert 4, BArts (Mus), BMus for example.

Other Training:

Ideally the successful applicant would have:

·      Other training in piano skills commensurate with the job

Experience:

Ideally the successful applicant would have:

·      Experience in working with young children in a studio or formal education environment.

·      Experience in teaching keyboard skills commensurate with the job

Requirements:

A current Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one is imperative.
