Yardperson/Driver

Telum are actively searching for a Yardperson/Driver to join one of Sydneys busiest hire equipment suppliers

We represent a leading hire equipment provider who supply some of the largest contractors across the construction, manufacturing and logistics industries. 

This long-term position is based out of their Brookvale depot offering fulltime hours with the opportunity to go fulltime permanent with the company following a successful 3 month employment period. 

Main duties of the role include:

• Yard duties performing maintenance on various types of equipment, stock management and control and general house keeping duties. 
• Interacting with customers both over the phone and face to face, delivering a pleasant purchasing experience.
• Loading and unloading various types of equipment and machinery using appropriate procedures.
• Driving light rigid tipper trucks to collect and deliver products across north shore region.

The ideal candidate will possess the following: -

  - Full drivers C class license and the ability to drive manual vehicles
• Previous work experience within the industry and knowledge of equipment preferred but not mandatory

• Good team player with solid communication skills
