Carpenter

Two full-time Carpenters are required at Stormview Run Pty Ltd trading as Remote Trade Solutions (ACN: , ABN: The positions are based at Kununurra, Western Australia.

Salary $77,000 to AUD $80,000 per year + Superannuation.

Duties:

· Provide competent carpentry and joinery services to tradesman quality.

· Measure, cut, erect, install and assemble structures made of wood, steel, board and other materials.

· Work with supervisors & sub-contractors on construction projects

· Ensure all buildings are constructed in line with approved building plans.

· Utilise any tools provided safely and maintain the toolkit in good working order.

· Work safely and wear required PPE as directed.

· Assist with ordering of materials and managing stock.

· Other general carpentry, building and construction duties as required.

Essential

· Possession of building trade certificate (minimum of Cert III in Carpentry) or at least 3 years of full-time work experience as a Carpenter.

· White Card.

· Ability to read and follow building and construction plans.

· Valid drivers' licence.

· Able to work full-time in Kununurra, Western Australia.

· Effective English communication skills.

· Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

· Willing to undertake police and medical clearances if requested.

Desirable

· Experience working in harsh outdoor climates, including high levels of humidity.

· Experience with multi-story construction projects.

Other information

Carpenters will work in the regional area of Kununurra, Western Australia. The climate in Kununurra is extreme, often exceeding 40 degrees Celsius with high humidity.
