Firewood Solutions part of the South Australian entity of Mechanical Vegetations Solutions Group, with an outstanding reputation for delivery of high-quality products and services. FWS are looking for a suitability qualified Yard Hand / Firewood Operator to join our team.

Duties include:

  • Use of the latest technology firewood cutting machinery
  • Pre start machinery checks with equipment maintenance
  • Ensuring equipment is in a clean and safe state
  • Housekeeping
  • Assisting line managers

Ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • Self motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Solid verbal communication skills with active listening skills
  • Adaptable to a dynamic workplace
  • Previous experience in the Arboriculture industry or a mechanical background is advantageous
  • Physically fit with can do attitude
  • Candidates holding a current loader, excavator or MR - HR license will be considered highly
