About the Position:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified and driven candidate to join the Shire of Broome in the role of Plant Operator.

The Plant Operator will be responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard to the Shire public road and public infrastructure in a safe and serviceable condition. This includes operating Shire plant and equipment and work in the most efficient and effective manner as part of the Works Department team.

About You:

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of servicing and maintenance of trucks and plant, and knowledge of safe working practices, with an ability to follow them at all times and a valid, unrestricted HR licence. You will have highly developed communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to learn new systems of work. Candidates with Grading experience will be highly preferred and offered at a different scale.
