Position: Support Worker

Location: Campbelltown, SA

The Role:

As a Support Worker/Carer in Campbelltown, SA you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities, including showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication monitoring, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments.

This client requires assistance with personal care. Please note that this is a very hands on role and will involve hairwashing, showering, drying and dressing, domestic cleaning, including ironing, clean fridge, sweep front porch to clean leaves, transport for shopping, meal preparation.

The shifts will be

Monday 8am-10am

Thursday 8am-11am one week and 8am-12pm the next week.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • National Police Clearance Certificate
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
  • Smartphone
  • Experience in providing at home care including Personal Care
  • Must have a lot of knowledge and experience in creating a variety of Indian meals as there will be food preparation involved and the client prefers Indian cuisine.
