About the Role:
LTE Structures (QLD) is seeking an experienced Solid Plasterer to join our team on a full-time basis. The work involves the application of patching compounds and coatings to correct imperfections, restore uniformity, and meet project finish requirements. The role supports the company's delivery of high-quality concrete structures and compliance with client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect precast panels post-installation and identify surface defects
- Prepare concrete surfaces for repair (grinding, cleaning, priming)
- Apply patching compounds using hand tools, trowels, floats and sanding equipment
- Finish surfaces to match surrounding texture and appearance
- Mix and colour match compounds to suit project requirements
- Ensure work meets tolerance, quality, and finish specifications
- Apply protective or decorative coatings where required
- Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts or similar access equipment (as needed)
- Maintain tools and work areas in clean, safe condition
- Work in line with company safety procedures, SWMS and site regulations
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in solid plastering or concrete patching
- Ability to repair concrete surfaces with a range of patching systems
- Skilled in surface preparation, colour matching, blending, and finishing
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying site conditions
- Good attention to detail and finishing quality
- Ability to work from drawings and follow patching schedules
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Mandatory Requirements
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Experience working on construction or precast erection sites
- Physical ability to handle manual tasks safely and efficiently
Desirable
- Certificate III in Solid Plastering or equivalent qualification
- Experience with architectural or high-finish concrete patching
- Elevated Work Platform licence or working at heights ticket

Pay: $110,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
