About Us

BKM Custom Fabrication, proudly established in 2011 and now operating under energetic new ownership, is entering an exciting phase of growth and innovation. We specialise in crafting durable, high-quality custom products for tradespeople and the agriculture and building industries. Our work also includes a wide range of bespoke fabrication projects and expanding site maintenance services.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Boilermaker to join our close-knit team and help shape the next chapter of BKM Custom Fabrication.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Fabricating and welding steel components for one-off fabrication projects.
  • Carrying out general site maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Delivering high-quality workmanship across all welding, fabrication, and maintenance duties.
  • Working collaboratively with a supportive team to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop that aligns with OH&S standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Trade qualification in Boilermaking (highly regarded).
  • Experience in steel fabrication and welding (MIG, TIG, ARC).
  • Strong background in general site maintenance is a definite advantage.
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Forklift licence, beneficial but not essential.
  • Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a positive, team-focused attitude.
  • Preferably have a license and own mode of transport.
